Picked up my new motor today, caught the train to Henly in Arden and drove it back :D :D

Its a 2.5TD LWB, needs a little attention but has MOT till Jan next year.

Faults found so far

Starter motor is loose
Oil pressure gauge is erratic
Temp gauge doesn't go up
Central locking not working
Seems to be a bit of an oil leak around the EGR valve
Few scabs on the body need knocking off and painting
Side steps are well rusty
Steering box has been adjusted and its too tight

I've been told this one is staying a shiney, no lanes and no mods

Bull bar does nothing for the approach angle

It will be a looooooooooooooong time (maybe)

Been given strict instructions, no lift, no big tyres and no scratches :|

Will probably get some AT's when the boots wear out and maybe some new springs on the back and and and .......

Must say I'm impressed with the engine, got loadsa grunt and seems pretty good on juice
