I bought my Landrover Freelander a couple of months ago after being snowed in at home in rural Carmarthenshire. It's a 1999 TDi with 134,000 miles recorded. In very good shape considering the distance it has travelled in 11 years. It's my daily driver and has pretty tame all terrain tyres at the moment. I mostly bought it so I could get about on the farm I moved to last year (my Renault Clio was starting to disintegrate), but I would very much like to try some green laning.

Mike Wilson, somewhere near Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK

Yeah an other Freesbie...
Hello and welcome to the mad house...

Tame AT tyres you say well if you are going to upgrade the tyres, get some modular 15' rims they are available for them now and do not go over 30' on the tyre size or yo will ripe the gear box apart...
Also suspention lifts on them are limited two 2' and even that needs some minor cutting on the inner wings...
Bearmarch sell a wide range of Aftermarket parts for makeing a freelander off road capable, take a lok at madfreelanders web site and see what they have done...

If you want to go down that route...
